FLASHBACK

Thank God this project is always extended. :]]

I, obviously, am not fund of doing this bloggy thing because actually, I am not really into sharing pieces of my life. I don’t know why.

Anyway, SALIW is going to perform some of the concert’s performances to entertain the delegates from different Regional Science High Schools. I was excited. I learned how to dance SAKUTING and it was a lot of fun. I was really amazed on how fast Ate Dei comes up with choreography. AMAZING! xD

On the day of performance, we were like going back to the concert, NON STOP but it was really fun. The delegates even danced with us and also Mr. Tosco that was very fulfilling. But what I like the most is when a parent came over and complemented us. I was like, \m/. THAT’S SALIW! I almost cried when Ma’am May said her farewell to the seniors though I’m a junior. I don’t know why but maybe it’s the way she said it. =’c I was sad because it was the last performance of the seniors and I’m gonna miss them. This post is getting too far. Bye!

BTW. I wanna include Alice in Wonderland in this entry. It’s such a very good movie though I was only moved by the last part. Overall, it was GREAT, though it’s a little bit creepy for some momentsin the movie.

ALICE by Avril Lavigne

Trippin out
Spinning around
I'm underground
I fell down
Yeah I fell down

I'm freaking out, where am I now?
Upside down and I can't stop it now
Can't stop me now, oh oh

I, I'll get by
I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I, I won't cry

I found myself in Wonderland

Yo Banderitas!

After the SALIW concert, I thought I’m gonna be back to classes today but FORTUNATELY ( :]] ), I did not. For the upcoming RSHS Summit, our school decided to make banderitas out of the cover of our notebooks so we did it.

For this time, I also joined the COCC. Though I hate it, I still joined. It brought me body pains and sore throat LOL. Though I haven’t attended any training, they assigned me as the commandant of the colors. They can’t choose anyone so they persuaded me to join. I was thinking, it could have been Robert but I don’t know why they did not pick him. Another controversial thing, Joshua is one of the flag bearers. No offense, but it was all what we are thinking of. It led us to a conclusion that this COCC thing is “PALAKASAN” LOL.

Anyway, we always have a jamming inside our room and this one, I really love it.

Passenger Seat by Stephen Speaks

I look at her and have to smile
As we go driving for a while
Looking nowhere in the open window of my car
And as we go the traffic lights
Watch them glimmer in her eyes
In the darkness of the evening

And I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me

We stop to get something to drink
My mind pounds and I can't think
Scared to death to say I love her
Then a moon peeks from the clouds
Hear my heart that beats so loud
Try to tell her simply

That I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me

Oh and I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me

SALIW ON SPOTLIGHT!!!

Yesterday, yesterday, yesterday. What the heck?! It’s the best day ever! \m/ or should I say the best NIGHT ever!

I’ll not goof around this time.

*sigh* What can I say about the concert? Well, actually, I don’t know. It’s simply the BEST event in school that ever happened.

Before the concert started, we still had our rehearsals in the morning and after the rehearsals, we went to Ariane’s house and had a movie marathon. It’s fun.

Right after the marathon, we went back to school and I was really excited for the concert yet nervous, we went backstage and I changed my clothes according to the first performance we’ll do, it’s Footloose (anything checkered on top). We did not settle down, we’re “in and out” of the backstage. Then boom, the program started with “The Prayer” sung by Maedenne and Kuya Engelbert then Footloose. We started stomping and my glasses went off. I started to panic. I kicked my glasses off the stage and continued stomping and dancing. Our performance was followed with amazing performances from the alumni and we danced the SD. The part 2 of this concert is the singing part. There were bands and a bunch of great singers. The part 3 includes the current members and officers of SALIW, solo performances, and ultimate showdown. As a closing performance, all SALIW members danced to the tune of “Celebrate Good Times”. After the concert, we had a “party-party” at the middle of the stage. I thank God that my parents appreciated the concert but they still want me to avoid these things. Despite of what they told me, I’ll still DANCE! :]]
