Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you. LOL

It was very tiring. I’m in our school 7 days a week and it’s killing me yet, I’m loving it. I’m really not feeling well so I’ll just make this short. Yesterday, my classmates made the props for our musical stage play. I visited them and it was a good thing that they understood that I can’t help them, I just told them that I’ll do my best on the play itself. :]]

Time to Lose

Last February 4, we went to Batangas City where the Jazz Chant Competition was held. It had been a long trip from Maragondon to the said place. We were very busy looking for rooms where we can rest then after a very busy day; we found _________ Pension House (I forgot the name.). It was a nice room. It’s air-conditioned :]]. That night, we went to a church and headed to SM to have our dinner. When we got back, we practiced for the last time and prayed. That night, I can’t sleep. Maybe because I drunk too much coffee but I noticed that many of us are still awake :]]. I slept by 12:30 am.

This is it! We need to give our best. After we had prepared ourselves, we went to the auditorium. It was cold inside. When Ma’am May knew that we did a different order of the pieces, we made “last-minute” changes. When I saw the other contestants, I was very nervous. We performed then and I thought we did okay. What I noticed with the other groups is that they have extravagant props and costumes.

When the results were announced, we were sad. We did not win *sob*. We were so bitter that we actually throw words against Batangas. After having our lunch, Ma’am May told us that we should not be bitterand she’s right [What do we get from bitterness anyway?]. Well, I think everyone must fall and should learn how to get back up.

Yehey! I am excused again from classes because we began practicing for the Jazz Chant competition. After I experienced being excused for a long time, I never wanted to go back to classes again. I don’t know why. :]] Maybe because it’s fun doing something else aside from studying that’s why I’m really into attending the rehearsals of SALIW. It’s a lot of fun and I really love dancing even I was still in elementary. I remembered my former school when we joined the street dance competition (if I remember it right) of WCSU when I was in 4^th Grade held in Ternate. Unfortunately, we only got the 3^rd place (imagine, I still remember that. :]]). Anyway, going back to the original topic, I really missed my colleagues, but I’m afraid to tell my parents that the practice for Jazz Chant resumed because they might scold me again for joining such competition and as expected, they did. They knew we had been practicing again when we had a practice yesterday. I went home by noon because it was my father’s birthday celebration. We went to Tagaytay and had fun. I had no more to say. I’ll just share a song. It’s called “The Way I Do” by Marcus/Marcos Hernandez. (It’s just the first part)

English Fest

Most of the students were excused because of the upcoming English Fest. Chosen students were assigned to do Jazz Chant, Poem Interpretation, and other contests.

We, the jazz chanters, were really surprised because we’re going to perform on the said event. Another, we were also assigned in different groups of Jazz Chant and I was assigned in Group 2. At first, I was really shy with them. I can’t teach them what to do. The whole afternoon, I haven’t taught them anything but the next day, I had the initiative to teach them at least some tips on how they should perform. On the last day of practice, I was really surprised on what they’ve showed me. It was really great. I just told them to polish everything and they’re ready to go. When the results were announced, I jumped and shouted when I heard that they won. I was insane that time. I was really happy for them.

Mix Mix Mix

We had our PT 3.2 and actually, I don’t care too much about my grades. I don’t know why. It’s fun not caring about your grades too much as long as your grades are not very low.

Last January 14, it was Joshua’s birthday so we went to his house. It was also his thanksgiving party for he recovered from dengue. Many attended his party and we had a lot of fun but we went home early because I’ll still study but when I got home, I did not even read any reference books, I just surfed the net and watched ABDC (America’s Best Dance Crew) episodes on YouTube. I really love Quest Crew and Beat Freaks, also Strikers All Stars’ take on Britney Spear’s “Gimme More”. I really love them. :]]
